Seventh Generation Root-In in NYC

I continue to teach Honor to bloom where she is planted, and that means she must understand how to take care of the environment where she is. It’s always easy to forget how important Mother Earth is when we are busy crushing our goals and living life to the fullest. I am guilty of not always taking the time to show my gratitude to the environment, so I attempt to make small changes in my life to do my part in saving the earth. Honor and I switched to Seventh Generation paper goods a few months ago because we refuse to leave any booty behind, but we don’t want to harm the earth either.

In celebration of our switch, we supported Seventh Generation and Mike The Tree for their “Root-In” Rally in Grand Central Station Terminal to encourage more people to use recycled TP. Who would have thought that a group of tree lovers would find their way to the middle of New York City (ya, know, the concrete jungle) to root for the lives of a few more trees. Honor has had a blast learning more about how she can take care of the planet she calls home with the help of Seventh Generation. I am hopeful that she will remember these days when she’s grown and taking care of her own home.

So, to all the trees, Honor and I are standing up for you with a little Seventh Generation switch. Put your branches up for saving a few of our rooted friends and not leaving a single booty behind.
