Thank You 2018! A Year in Review
This year has definitely been good to me for so many reasons.
This time last year, I decided my word for 2018 was going to be EXECUTION---the act of completing tasks and carrying out my goals.
It was NOT easy to stick to my word for 2018, but every time I felt like giving up, I was reminded of why I was working hard, building a brand, and executing my plans.
In 2018, I learned so many lessons about myself once I decided to execute my own plans and set my own dreams into motion.
I learned I have to execute my plans in my own way, and at my own pace. I moved in a way that worked best for me this year.
2018: a Year in Review
I learned I have to be deliberate about my projects. If I execute a project, and my soul tells me to shift, I have to execute the shift just like I executed the launch. For example, this year, I launched Shop Crush, my clothing and product store. I knew I wanted to do this, but once it was executed, I knew I was outside of my calling and I needed to do more, so I pivoted. I executed the pivot just as quickly as I launched the shop.
I executed a move back to Utah with grace and ease. I gained connections and built relationships with companies and people who helped me execute my dreams. I put my dreams into action, and the results have taken my breath away (and I’m pretty proud of my damn self).
I learned that execution can be about starting something new, and it can be about ending something old, either way...it must be done in order to grow.
This year, I had to execute a plan to take care of myself. A plan to seek healing and peace. I learned to understand my triggers and execute boundaries to keep those triggers from distracting me. I had to execute a plan to make myself a priority. I had to protect my space, my heart, and my brand.
So, 2018, thank you! Thank you for teaching me how to execute my plans, learn from my mistakes, and move forward toward MORE.
Now, that I’m saying goodbye to 2018, I’m ready to say hello to 2019 with a new word to EXECUTE and learn from.
