Bikin' it with Woom Bikes
Another milestone bites the dusts. You know when your babies are actual babies and they have about 50 milestones before they hit the age of one, and then somewhere along the way we stop watching every day for milestones. We get into the routine of daily life and forget to watch as closely as our mama hearts would like us to; but then we have those big moments come along and remember that our babies still have those amazing milestones we can celebrate. Like learning to ride a bike!
H usually prefers to ride along side me in a cart when I'm biking, but lately she's been pulling on her big girl pants and wanting to ride a bike for herself. I was a little nervous because she's only four - my baby! How could my baby already be ready to ride a bike?! But she was, and like everything else in life, she did it with grit and determination. I have to say, It was a really a proud mama moment for me, you guys. I mean, this tiny little human just jumped up on her Woom Bike (of course, with her helmet because I'm still a mama) and took off with no fear.
When we've tried to teach her in the past, it's been difficult because I don't like having to bend over to hold the handles to help keep her balanced - any other parents out there know what I'm talking about. It's straight up awkward. But Woom Bikes have a little grip for parents to hold on to at the end of the bike to help their kids balance while not quite literally hovering over them. It's a win all around.
I think like most parents, I only want the best for my child. I'm really glad that I choose to choose Woom Bikes which are uniquely designed for children, safe, and light weight. If you're looking for a helmet for your child, I also highly recommend their melon helmets. They are durable and reliable, which is what you want in the object protecting your child's noggin.
I'm so proud of H and this huge milestone. If it's any indicator of how strong and determined she will be throughout her life, I think she has an amazingly successful future ahead of her.
