Three Ways to Stay Focused
As my workload increases, so does my awareness. I know that when I get busier, things can fall through the cracks and I don't want that to happen so I start taking extra steps to make sure it doesn't. The biggest way I do that is by leaving myself reminders in various places to stay focused. I hope these ways to stay focused help you as much as they help me.
1. Leave quick reminders on your phone. || This one is critical. We live in a day and age that technology rules our lives, so we have to adjust accordingly. If your phone is going to be in your face all day, don't let social media be the only thing it sees. Send yourself positive messages, intentional messages of motivation, and goals you want to achieve. This is something I've done for a while now, and it's actually really effective.
2. Write down your engagements in a planner. || I personally swear by my Passion Planner. One of the best parts about Passion Planner is that they have quotes listed on each page that really get you thinking. I've had a lot of messages asking which planner I use, and this is definitely my fav! But whatever planner you do choose to use, make sure you are writing down not only your appointments and meetings, but your goals. I believe in putting it into the universe when you want something - so write it down and then do a time line of what you need to do to get there.
3. Motivation on the mirror. || Aside from your phone, you probably won't leave the house without at least checking in the mirror to make sure you look presentable. That means that it's a solid place to guarantee you'll get the message you want to remember. I like to leave notes for myself on the mirror that are encouraging me to be my best self each day. I like to change them up also, so they don't become a second thought.
These are the three ways to stay focused and motivated that I use when my schedule is at my busiest. If you apply these ways to stay focused to your daily life, I'm confident they will help you too. Now get out there and be your best selves, babes!
